Visa requirements are tough

Canadians are warm and welcoming people, including the government. Unfortunately, the country has some of the toughest visa requirement rules. Its immigration process is lengthy and tedious due to the rules imposed by the government. If an international student meets all the requirements, they will enjoy studying in Canada.

Costly healthcare system

The country has a universal healthcare system but accessing it is not easy. The country offers free medical insurance coverage for international students. Students have to enroll in the system, which takes too long to be approved. Other health insurance plans have costly premiums that are not easily affordable by students.

Compared to other countries, the cost of education and living is affordable in Canada. The main challenge of studying in Canada is the extreme weather recorded in winter.
