THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~ July 29, 2020 (LSN) Wasaya Airways is pleased to announce the appointment of its new President and Chief Executive Officer, James Ward.
James Ward brings with him 15 years’ experience working with First Nation communities. James gained valuable leadership and aviation experience having worked 10 years of his career with Wasaya Airways. Most recently, James was the CEO for Happy Time Tours, HT Leasing and Carrick Express and is a Director on the Board of Nishnawbe Aski Development Fund.
James is looking forward to growing the airline and working with the Wasaya ownership group to ensure future success for everyone

James succeeds former President and CEO Tom Morris, who recently announced his retirement. Tom has been a leader with Wasaya Airways for 24 years, of which 16 were spent leading Wasaya as President and Chief Executive Officer.

His knowledge of the aviation industry and his commitment to working for the north will be missed.
