THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~ May 24, 2020 (LSN) A 34 YEAR OLD CHRISTOPHER JAMES KOWALCZYK WAS WANTED ON AN ARREST WARRANT SINCE EARLY MARCH 2020. But tthe public about the warrant. Last evening, Saturday May 23,2020 hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers were called to the Real Canadian Superstore on Carrick Street about a robbery in progress. Officers responded quickly and arrested a 34 year old CHRISTOPHER JAMES KOWALCZYK
Officers learned that there was an arrest warrant issued for KOWALCZYK on March 9,2020. But the Director of Communications at TBPS never notified the public about it.
KOWALCZYK is facing criminal charges of:
-breach of probation
He has a lengthy criminal history.
He appeared by video in Thunder Bay Bail Court this morning before His Worship, Justice of the Peace Marcel Donio.
Crown Attorney Tiffany Boisvert is not agreeing to release KOWALCZYK.
He was transported to the Thunder Bay Jail at 1:30pm this afternoon.
KOWALCZYK is the boyfriend of SUSAN “STABBY” BREWER and also the father of her child. Neither of them have custody.
As per usual practice, the Director Of Communications at TBPS isn’t notifying the public for the simple fact that he’s really lazy and dumb.
The Director overindulged in soy and tofu last night and is suffering the effects today.
He just can’t be bothered to do his job.
Chief Sylvie Hauth and the Police Services Board allows this.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers were dispatched to a reported robbery involving a weapon at a grocery store in the 1000-block of Dawson Road just before 10:30 p.m. on Monday, July 29, 2019
Police learned the accused male was leaving the Safeway on Dawson Road with stolen merchandise. An employee confronted the accused in the store’s parking lot, at which point the accused male brandished a weapon that appeared to be a knife.
The employee then called police.
The accused male was located at Red River Road and Clarkson Street and arrested without incident.
A 33 year old CHRISTOPHER JAMES KOWALCZYK is charged with Robbery with a Weapon.
He appeared in Thunder Bay Bail Court and was denied release. He is being transferred to the Thunder Bay Jail.
SEPTEMBER 18, 2014 ARSON
On September 18,2014 a fire erupted at a Northwood home on 600 block of Thistle Crescent. CHRISTOPHER JAMES KOWALCZYK was arrested and charged with the arson damaging the home and garage. In 2015, he was sentenced to time served of less than 6 months plus 1 year probation.
