citizens of Thunder Bay, had to take to the streets protesting

so that our voices could be heard

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~  October 21, 2020 (LSN)  Well it was a sad day today when the citizens of Thunder Bay, had to take to the streets protesting so that our voices could be heard. Our mayor and council refused to here us, refused to take action refused to maintain the infrastructure of our city! But I couldn’t have been happier with the turnout we had today, power in numbers, yes we are going to be heard

Every day somebody else comes forward with leaky pipes and broken main water lines to the homes. People are coming together for answers and support, our Face Book page doubled in three days and is over 1200 now. 

Our next step isn’t clear yet, we want our Council to step up and take care of Business! If they would have started 2 years ago helping the citizens of Thunder Bay a lot of these cases would have been resolved before they became disasters costing us 1,000 and thousands of dollars. We are definitely considering taking a class action suit or encouraging people to go to small actions court. Maybe we have to take this to the next level of Government but one thing is for sure we aren’t going to take the cities Non-Action anymore, we are getting more and more support every day, people with a real understanding of all the facets of the situation!

The next six months are going to be very difficult for the people that develop the leaky pipes scenario. They won’t be able to borrow water from their neighbours through a garden hose.  Hauling water is not an option for senior citizens, shut ins or the Disabled. There will be a lot of hardship and the city has to step-up and take action. Our city water bills are atrocious and we don’t have the service that we pay for. How many way or time can we say it, Step up City Council, this is why we have elected representatives, do your job!

The Lake Superior Circle Tour in northern Wisconsin (highway 13), loops around Lake Superior state highways in the US states of Michigan, Minnesota (highway 61) and Wisconsin and provincial highways in the Canadian province of Ontario (highway 17). These highways are usually the closest to the lake.

The Great Lakes — Superior, Huron, Michigan, Ontario and Erie — make up the largest body of fresh water on Earth, accounting for one-fifth of the freshwater surface on the planet at 6 quadrillion gallons. The area of all the Great Lakes is 95,160 square miles (246,463 square kilometers) and span 750 miles (1,200 km) from west to east.
