North Shore Health Care Foundation Heart-Felt Thanks – Thank A Health Worker Campaign
COOK COUNTY, MINNESOTA ~~~~~~ February 9, 2021 (LSN) The North Shore Health Care Foundation is proud to launch the Heart-Felt Thanks – Thank A Health Worker Campaign in the month of February, to recognize local health care workers for their role in keeping our communities safe throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Our local health care workers have been doing an extraordinary job responding to COVID-19, working under strenuous protocols for nearly a year now,” said Jerry Lilja, President – North Shore Health Care Foundation. “As an organization that advocates for health and emergency services, we want to say a big thanks to everyone who works in our health care facilities, Cook County Public Health & Human Services, EMS units and the Cook County Emergency Operations Center. Our frontline workers have been living in PPE for months, showing up each day risking their own health for ours, and they deserve to be recognized.”
