Logic behind Vaccine Mandates Travellers No Longer Holds

Logic behind Vaccine Mandates Travellers No Longer Holds

Harming Local Tourism Industry Jobs

THUNDER BAY, DRYDEN, KENORA, ONTARIO  ~~~~~   May 21, 2022 (LSNews)   Travel industry experts from a wide range of disciplines are calling on the government to drop travel restrictions. These restrictions have drastic impacts on travel times, our economy, and Canada's international reputation.

Global News is reporting that COVID-19 cases are on the decline, but more and more Canadians are getting sick with the flu across the country, Canada’s top public health officer said Friday.

“We’re seeing influenza activity increasing up to the seasonal threshold despite the opposite trends being expected this time of year,” Dr. Theresa Tam, the nation’s chief public health officer, told reporters during a federal COVID-19 update.

Without many COVID-19 health mandates like masking in effect in most places across the country, cases of the flu have increased, according to Tam.

We need to support economic recovery in Canada instead of needlessly restricting travel.

Conservatives will continue to stand up for Canadians, including those trying to reunite with loved ones, those travelling with their families, and those working tirelessly in the service industry stated
