DRYDEN NUCLEAR FORUM SEPTEMBER 28TH & 29TH

At Dryden Regional Training and Cultural Centre

DRYDEN, ONTARIO ~~~~~   September 11, 2022 (LSNews)  The City of Dryden alongside the Dryden Nuclear Education and Engagement Committee (DNEEC) will be hosting a 2-day educational event on September 28th & 29th titled Dryden’s Nuclear Forum

The event will feature presentations from the Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO), the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC), and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission regarding the site selection process, assessing impacts, licensing, safety, and the overall regulatory process. There will also be a keynote address on critical thinking, an expert panel discussion, information booths and more.

The event is open to the public at no cost and will take place at the Dryden Regional Training and Cultural Centre. Anyone wishing to attend can visit https://www.dryden.ca/register or register at the door
