Winnipeg, Manitoba – May 29, 2011 --- The Thunder Bay Chill ended their first road trip of the season
with a record of 1-1, after a 3-0 loss to WSA Winnipeg on Sunday afternoon. The Chill was unable to break WSA’s stingy defense, and fell victim to their opponents counterattack.
WSA saw goals from Kenny Sacramento (47th minute) Amos Ganyea (64th), and Ivan Garcia (70).
“We had no breaks today,” stated Chill Head Coach, Tony Colistro. “We could have been up a couple goals off the start, but they played strong defense and countered. We need a lot of work.”

Anthony Putrus, Gustavo Oliveria, and Jordian Forahani all received yellow cards in the game. Captain, Nolan Intermoia did not play due to a knee injury.
The Chill have a two week break to prepare for their first home series of the year against heated rival Des Moines Menace. Games will take place at Chapples Park on Friday, June 10th, and Saturday, June 11th. The scheduled kick-off time for the fixtures is 7:30 p.m. (EDT).
