Roger Donald MCKAY, 34, of Thunder Bay appeared in court on a charge of First-Degree Murder on Oct. 31, 2018. He was remanded to the district jail. The ongoing investigation has led to this charge being dropped.
He was released from jail unconditionally on Nov. 1.
Marlene Lou KWANDIBENS, 37, Terryl Nicole Irene MICHON, 21, and Darren Steven OOMBASH, 24, all of Thunder Bay, remain in custody each charged with First-Degree Murder.
A post-mortem examination of the victim is expected to take place in Toronto.
The investigation is ongoing.

The Thunder Bay Police Service has arrested and charged four people with First-Degree Murder.
The deceased female has been identified as Ashley Chantal MCKAY, 25, of Thunder Bay. Her next of kin have been notified.
Officers have been actively canvassing the
area and investigators are awaiting the results of the post-mortem examination. The crime scene remains under police control.

Thunder Bay Police are currently investigating a death that occurred in an apartment in the 200 block of Cumming Street and are investigating it as a homicide.
Patrol officers were called to that location at approximately 5:30 a.m. on October 30th, 2018.
The scene is currently being held by police.
This investigation is ongoing.
