THUNDER BAY  ---   November 3, 2009  ----   After a 1 year hiatus, and hot on the heels of a very successful Harvest Moon Art Auction, the Art Gallery is pleased to bring back by popular demand one of its most successful and unique fundraising events: its 9th Annual Christmas House Tour.

The event is a self-guided tour of four Thunder Bay executive homes and the Art Gallery.

Each home will be decorated by professional decorators from local businesses in styles appropriate for the holiday season.

The tour takes place on two levels. The first is the magical Candlelight Tour of the four homes taking place at night. The Gallery will also be decorated. The Gallery will host a reception at the including access to the existing exhibits – The Limnology Project, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, cash bar, prize raffles, live entertainment and gift shop discounts.

Sunday is the House Tour, including the Art Gallery from 10 am – 4 pm. Visitors to the Gallery will enjoy the Fort William Male Choir in rehearsal for their holiday concert.

All proceeds from House Tour 2009 stay at the Gallery to fund future exhibitions and the many community based programs that occur year round.
