announce a brand new regional event in partnership with SHIFT Thunder Bay’s Young Professional Network .
Nathan Lawrence, President of SHIFT, Michael Nitz, Chair of the Board, TBCC and Don Campbell, Pres. & CEO Tbaytel unveil the new Northwestern Ontario Visionary Awards (NOVA) for Thunder Bay and region
On January 21, 2012 at Fort William Historical Park we will be hosting the Northwestern Ontario Visionary Awards (NOVA) sponsored by Tbaytel. During this gala evening we will celebrate the brightest young stars in Thunder Bay and around the region as we honour the regions’ Top 20 under 40. We are looking for nominations for those under the age of 40 (by Dec. 31, 2011) who show strong leadership and commitment to their community.
Beginning September 21, 2011 nominations can be made for any individual who fits the criteria. Deadline for nominations is October 15th. Judges from Thunder Bay and region will be reviewing all nominations and making their selections based on a variety of criteria such as professional achievements, leadership initiatives and community involvement.

These awards will reward individuals under 40 years of age who have achieved success while displaying strong leadership skills and contributing to their communities”
