Thunder @ the Bay

#LSN_Outdoors  Motorsport community together

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO  -- April 16, 2017   (LSN) Thunder at the Bay 2017 is our second year of an annual Thunder Bay, Ontario Motorsport Extravaganza.  It is a two-day event to be held on August 19 and 20, 2017.  Last year we had 243 vehicles and nearly 3000 spectators.

Thunder at the Bay is different from all the other shows in this area.  The show brings the entire Motorsport community together to share ideas and enjoy the fellowship of the motorsport community.  It was also to provide the public to attend a show where we feature vehicles, demonstrations and activities that they do not normally see at any car show.

This year the show will be bigger and better since we are now inviting Street Motorcycles (original and custom) into the show.

Here are some of the differences that make Thunder at the Bay Motorsport Extravaganza so special: The show will feature “Work in Progress” vehicles, “Burnout Contest” (both days), “Long Distance Award”, “Hourly Prizes”, “24 Categories” of vehicles, “Jeep/off road Display”, “Ice Racing Bikes and Cars”, “Racing Snowmobiles”, “Street Bikes”, “Demonstrations”, “Food Vendors”, “Automotive Vendors”, “Radio Controlled Car Racing”, “Children's Activities” (Bouncy Castles, climbing walls etc.), “Special Displays” inside the Coliseum Building, two Live Bands, “Hey Sailor” Fashion Show, “Roller Derby” Girls.

There will be a BBQ and a Cruise on Saturday evening for the Participants to relax and drive around the City of Thunder Bay and enjoy some of the scenic locations that are here.

We hope that your travel plans can include visiting Thunder Bay and enjoying the “Thunder at the Bay Motorsports Extravaganza” on August 19 and 20, 2017.
