33rd annual Teddy Bears Picnic

THUNDER BAY, ON  ---  July 5, 2015   ---  Calling all Teddy Bears and Owners!   Parents, caregivers, children and their teddy bears are invited to Thunder Bay's Vickers Park for an afternoon of free crafts, activities and entertainment featuring The Grumpy Grampas, Rodney Brown and Jim ’n’ I.

“The Teddy Bears Picnic is a long-standing favourite event for young children and families,” said Dave Mossman, Events Supervisor. “With 33 years of history, we now see parents bringing their children to enjoy the event that they loved as a child.”

The Picnic begins at noon and runs until 3 pm. Highlights of the day include the Teddy Bear Parade and the Boo-Boo Bear Station where teddy bears can get a quick repair with a bandage or needle and thread.

Families can bring their own picnic or visit the numerous concessions on site for a tasty lunch or treat. Teddy Bears Picnic is a great way to spend a summer afternoon with family and friends enjoying lots of activities and entertainment.

Calling all Teddy Bears and Owners!  

It's time once again for the Teddy Bears Picnic at Vickers Park from 12 noon - 3 pm on Tuesday, July 14, 2015.

Children, parents and teddy bears are invited to enjoy an afternoon of free crafts, activities and entertainment. This year's picnic features local entertainers including The Grumpy Grandpas, Rodney Brown, and Jim’n’I on the main stage.  The groups will have you and your teddy bear dancing all afternoon!

Highlights of the day include the Teddy Bear Parade and Boo Boo Bear Station to bandage much loved teddy bears.
