MNR Seeking Help in Forest Fire at Swallow Lake

Swallow Lake, Boreal Road area west of Thunder Bay, May 23, 2015

THUNDER BAY, ON  ------  May 27, 2015  ----  The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is seeking the public’s help in identifying the person or persons responsible for starting a forest fire that burned part of an island on Swallow Lake, in the Boreal Road area, west of Thunder Bay, on May 23 to 24, 2015.
 
The ministry interviewed individuals who were on scene at the time. They described two individuals with a vehicle they saw in the area when the fire began.
