Neebing Fire Tailgate Raffle

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO -----  March 10, 2015   ----   This year, Neebing Fire/Rescue Association’s just south of Thunder Bay, Ontario,  Neebing Fire Rescue Association(NFRA)Tailgate Sale Raffle will be drawn June 20th, for a “truly Rural” prize.
Local business men Colin Chaschuk of Chaschuk Enterprises and Ray Johnson of Ray Johnson Services, have donated 10 cords of birch firewood, cut, split and delivered to within 100 kilometers of our Municipal Office. Tickets may be purchased from any member of NFRA, the Municipal Office at 4766 Highway #61 and many local businesses for $5 each or 3 for $10. Proceeds will support the wonderful work of our firefighters and first responders by purchasing equipment which will assist them to save us!
Credit also must go to Edith Tivendale, our tireless volunteer who came up with the idea of firewood as a prize, and then canvassed to see who could, and more importantly, would, make such a generous contribution. Now some lucky winner will have his heat for the winter of 2015/16 covered with no worries about finding seasoned birch which was difficult to locate this year.
Our two entrepreneurs live and work in Neebing, so if you have a future project that calls for excavation, float, backhoe, landscaping or clearing and hauling, these are the gentlemen to call. They deserve our business.
Be sure to watch for the sign at the woodlot on Highway# 61. Thanks again Ray and Colin.
