 Thunder Bay, ON –  February 2, 2016 --- The Premier Development League (PDL) released their 2016 schedule today including the 14 game regular season schedule for the Thunder Bay Chill. The Chill are going into their 17th season in the league, and coming off their 8th playoff appearance in the last 9 years.
The Heartland Division is still at 6 teams, however the Springfield Synergy has moved to the Mid South Division with the Kokomo Mantis from Indiana coming in to fill their spot.

The Chill start their season on the road on June 3rd against WSA Winnipeg and end the regular season at home on July 7th against Kokomo. The Chill’s home opener will be on June 10th against arch rival Des Moines Menace who come to town for two that weekend.

The Chill will play their regular pre-season games as follows:
May 28, 29 Winnipeg Lions

The full regular season schedule is as follows:


June 10, 11 Des Moines Menace
June 14 Chicago Fire Premier
June 17, 18 WSA Winnipeg 
July 12 St. Louis Lions   
 July 13 Kokomo Mantis



June 3, 4 at WSA Winnipeg
July 2 at St. Louis Lions
July 4 at Kokomo Mantis
July 5 at Chicago Fire Premier
July 7 at Chicago Fire Premier
July 9 at Des Moines Menace

Changes for 2016 will also include changes to the playoffs. There will be a Conference Championship, two National Semi Finals and then a National Final to be played on August 6, 2016.
The Thunder Bay Chill plays in the 67 team prospect focused Premier Development League
(PDL) which is the top developmental men’s league in North America.
