Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce Scholarships

 THUNDER BAY, on  --  June 22, 2015  --   - The Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the winners of the 2015 Chamber of Commerce Scholarships are Mariah Dykstra of Sir Winston Churchill Collegiate & Vocation Institute and Danielle Sargent of St. Ignatius High School.

The Chamber of Commerce Scholarship is now in its 23rd year. We are pleased to have supported so many students in advancing their education and careers, and wish Mariah and Danielle every success in their post-secondary education pursuits.

Mariah will be continuing her education in the Business - Human Resources program at Confederation College. Danielle will be entering the Honours Bachelor of Commerce program at Lakehead University.

Danielle Sargent of St. Ignatius was presented the Chamber scholarship at her graduation on June 10th by Riley Burton, Chair of the Chamber’s Education, Training & Skills Development committee, and member of the Scholarship Taskforce.  Uli Walther, Immediate Past Chair of the Chamber and member of the Chamber’s Education Committee will present the second high school scholarship to Mariah Dykstra, who is graduating from Churchill on June 24.
