CELEBRATING TELEMANNwith Consortium Aurora Borealis

THUNDER BAY, January 28, 2017   (LSN)

Telemann! Enjoy an evening of gentle chamber music in an intimate atmosphere as Consortium Aurora Borealis commemorates this prolific German 18th-century composer, friend of Bach and Handel, on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of his death.

The sweet sounds of the Baroque wooden flute mingle delicately with violin, cello and harpsichord. The programme includes two charming “Paris Quartets”, as well as solo works. Katie Stevens, Rob Van Wyck, Sonya Nanos, and Elizabeth Ganiatsos perform.

Admission at the door: $15 adults/seniors, $10 students, a great deal!
