Eco Superior Day Camp“Last year’s summer day camp was an overwhelming success and filled up very quickly! We have lots of new activities lined up for this year and are excited to be able to expand our program.” says EcoSuperior Program Coordinator Erin Moir. “People are looking for camp experiences that promote environmental ideals. This camp meets that need. We provide reusable water bottles, local snacks, and a whole week outdoors in the fresh air.”

In addition, the camp participants can expect visits from special guests with bonus activities such as Bike Rodeos, hands-on experiments with Let’s Talk Science, and sampling and observing aquatic insects from the McIntyre River.

While each week has a unique theme, the summer will have an overarching theme of our connection to water and Lake Superior. All species (including us!) require water to survive and thrive.  It is important to focus on ways that we can conserve and protect our water sources and ensure clean, safe, water for future generations.
Camp activities run from 9am-4:30pm Monday-Friday.  There is staff supervision on site from 8:30-5:00.

Members of the ROYAL CANADIAN NAVAL RESERVE HMCS GRIFFON will join us weekly to build a Navy Coastal Defence Vessel and talk to us about water safety! -

EcoSuperior has been providing school and youth programming for the community since 1997. The organization now offers 6 different school programs for elementary and high school students.
