 THUNDER BAY, ONT ---- October 7, 2015  ----The 5th Annual Mining Summit is a two-day event in Thunder Bay, that will feature guest speakers who will present, discuss and share their experiences, expertise and knowledge on topics and issues related to mining, including partnership opportunities, regional  and global outlooks, economic opportunities, industry labor requirements, lessons learned and best practices.

 Mining Summit event program has been designed to deliver a fulfilling learning and networking experience for participants keen on obtaining new knowledge and connections in the field of mining.  Building upon the theme “Preparing Aboriginal Communities For Mining Related Business Opportunities”, the event program offers a unique opportunity for participants to strengthen their capacity to explore and develop meaningful partnerships with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities and businesses on mining related business opportunities.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Annual NADF Business Awards showcases the outstanding achievements of Northern Ontario's growing Aboriginal business community and highlights their contributions to the growht and prosperity of our economy.

Six award recipients will be recognized for their achievements in business at a gala event hosted by the Valhalla Inn, Thunder Bay, Ontario’s premier hotel.
